A little more about me...

I decided to go back to school in the spring of 2004 to get my certification in English education.  When all is said and done (hopefully in the spring of 2006), I'll be certified to teach all aspects of English to grades 6-12.  I plan on continuing my education after certification so that I can get endorsements to teach Spanish and English as a Second Language (ESL).

The things I like to do:  read, watch Law and Order, write, go to hockey games, play with my dogs, go antiquing.

Things I don't like to do:  anything related to yard work.  I don't mind lying in a hammock though.

The greatest new generation goalie, JS Giguere.

Hockey, the coolest sport on ice.

J.S. Giguere, aka Jigger/Jiggy, was traded from the Calgary Flames to the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in 2000, a trade that until this year, I'm sure, the Flames were regretting.  Jigger pretty much single-handedly brought the Ducks to the Stanley Cup finals in 2002-2003.  In the 2003-2004 season, he had the 4th best save percentage and the 5th best goals-against statistic.  Jodi's guarantee:  they'll be back in the playoffs next season.
